Abhishek Humbad

Abhishek is the Founder and CEO - NextGen PMS Pvt.Ltd - an energy and environment company, incubated at NSRCEL- IIM Bangalore. NextGen helps clients estimate and reduce their emissions, sets up biogas plants and helps organizations evolve sustainably. NextGen has worked with some prestigious clients like the Intel, Government of India, Infosys, MindTree, Global Village Energy Partnership amongst others. NextGen is pioneering the Sustainable Universities Program.

Abhishek has represented India in a number of conferences on climate change including the World Youth Renewable Energy Conference in Portugal and Germany.He holds a B.E. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani. His research papers on climate change, rural carbon credits and biogas plants have been published in reputed international journals.

His passion is to create social change and impact through innovation.
