Dr. Anjana possesses over fourteen years of professional research and project management experience with an academic institution, a governmental organization and a multinational conservation organization. Her experience involves extensive work in the field of conservation biology and forest conservation.
Dr. Anjana has worked on:
o Forest management for diversity and forest productivity,
o Impacts of non timber forest produce extraction including medicinal plants,
o Habitat suitability for Tiger prey-base like Chital, Sambar, Hogdeer and Barking deer,
o Human-wildlife conflict mitigation with regard to elephants in West Bengal.
o GIS and GPS Applications in the field of Natural Resource and Wildlife Conservation
Dr. Anjana has many papers and reports published with leading Scientific journals of the world. She has also written various books on Foresty and Natural resource management.
