Sqn. Ldr. Dr. Bela Sharma

Dr. Bela Sharma, a Gold Medalist in M.B.B.S, is currently working as Consultant Internal Medicine, Physician Nephrologist in Fortis hospital Mohali.

Dr. Bela Sharma has also served in the Indian Air Force as Graded Specialist (Medicine) for five years, as Physician-Nephrologist in Command hospital Chandi Mandir, Chandigarh, and as Consultant Nephrologist in SUT Hospital in Thiruvanantpuram, Kerala.

Dr. Bela Sharma is M.D. from J.N.M.C., A.M.U., Training in nephrology from P.G.I, chandigarh and PGDMLS from Symbiosis.

Dr. Bela’s areas of special interest are:

-Health education and awareness

-Have been conducting health awareness camps and classes both outside and inside hospital

-Actively promoting Corporate Wellness Programme

-Been a part of Actfast group for spreading awareness regarding HIV/AIDS

-Regularly visiting senior citizen’s home once a week as a volunteer

-Involved in health camps for children in underprivileged areas
