Ravi Agnihotri

Ravi Agnihotri is an IT professional with over 5 years total work experience. Ravi has worked across countries such as India, China, France and Canada. He has also got rich exposure to different industry cultures viz service company, product company and a consultancy.

An Electronics and Communication Engineer by qualification, Ravi completed his Engineering with Honors and was a University position holder. All through his academic and professional career, he has won various awards and acclaims.

When Ravi was working in Canada in 2007, IPCC won Noble prize for Peace for its startling work revealing Global warming to the world. That was the turning point. After coming back to India in 2008, Ravi initiated a unique initiative with his friends named 'Eco-promise Signature campaign' wherein they began by designing stickers, logos and the theme of earth pamphlets and then went about personally collecting signatures from people on the streets including bus drivers and conductors, auto rickshaw and taxi drivers, shopkeepers, IT Engineers and even students. They succeeded in making their idea a reality by collecting signatures of 5000 people.

Ravi Agnihotri firmly believes that by just working top to bottom, Environmental degradation and Ecological imbalance won't come to a halt. Green Commandos fills that much-serious Bottom to Top vacuum wherein people would be involved at the grass root level in their 2KM areas.

Ravi is in the advisory board of environmental wing of Youth for Seva NGO, is co-coordinating cleaning of 625 parks of Bangalore with World Environment Foundation, and is also the convener of Public Policy team of Captain Gopinath's Nagarika Shakti Forum.

Ravi has intense passionate interest in movies and, one day, wants to revive Indian Parallel Cinema through his production house that he dreams to make one day.
